Alan previously spent time at City Hall, launching initiatives such as NYC Big Apps and the 311 iPhone app, and more recently at Fab. Alan has an MBA from NYU Stern in Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation, and a BBA from Michigan Ross School of Business. He has a sneaker addiction and is always up for a game of FIFA.
Founder & CTO
Jim dropped out of UPenn to found, build, and eventually sell Lore. He enjoys building things, and frequently wears orange.
Trey is a recovering hardware engineer, but has now moved on to the softer stuff. He started out working in silicon manufacturing, hardware design, and firmware, studied at Hacker School for three months, and then was at eBay NYC building an at scale, real-time recommendation system from scratch. He is a craft beer enthusiast, and possibly the world's best puzzle bobble player.
Vadim built simulation engines for mortgage backed securities at Bloomberg, before jumping into the startup world by starting a Bitcoin exchange. He then spent some time building infrastructure processing hundreds of thousands of transactions per second at Chartbeat. Vadim enjoys hiking, biking, and psychedelic trance festivals.
Artem is a young soul who has loved programming since an early age. He was part of the first Hacker School batch and later went on to build products at Codecademy and Medium. He's an avid sailor and cyclist with an insufferable love for New York and electronic music.
Lead Data Scientist
Brian Eoff is the lead data scientist at Jello Labs. Prior to joining Jello, he was the lead data scientist at Bitly. He was wooed away from his Ph.D at Texas A&M University by the temptation and bright lights of Broadway. Despite his abandonment he is still on speaking terms with his advisor. Brian is originally from Huntsville, Alabama, and he too is unsure of what happened to his southern accent. He has a perfectly healthy and normal obsession with Auburn football.
Lead Front End Engineer
After spending the first few years after college working in the IT department of a large insurance company, Jeff saw the light and entered the New York startup world. 7 years later, after getting to work on some amazing products with some amazing people (most recently leading front end development at Bitly), he has never looked back. Jeff lives in New Jersey with his wife and 3 kids, and can often be seen unashamedly rooting for the Jets or Yankees, singing along to Springsteen songs, or scouring the internet for the perfect gif to be used in any online conversation.
Adam FriedAdam Fried
Adam has developed a variety of software from embedded systems to mobile apps. Previously he was at BlackRock where he worked on components of their portfolio analytics system, which analyzed roughly $20 trillion per day. Before that he was at Lockheed Martin in their Engineering Leadership Development Program where he worked on radar, sonar, and electronic warfare programs. Adam enjoys spending time outdoors especially if it includes boating, hiking, biking, skiing, or just exploring the city.
Emily has experience helping brands like Gilt, Chipotle and Ralph Lauren rethink consumer experiences across digital channels. She also has a wheaten terrier named Jackson, and makes pinatas and other random crafts in her spare time.

Ara was on the Founding Team of BeachMint and advises a variety of startups. Ara is a CCA DesignMBA Fellow and a Visiting Fellow at the MIT Media Lab's Center for Future Storytelling (CFS) and has consulted with the Department of Defense and Mullen Advertising as well as various brands, content/new media companies and e-commerce startups, and loves all things design (including designing her own furniture).
Chief Brand Officer
April brings over 25 years experience running sales, merchandising and strategy across luxury and contemporary markets. Having played a significant role for 9 years developing DVF into the global player it is today, April has consulted for a variety of emerging fashion brands (Rachel Zoe, Tucker, Vitamin A), advises digital platforms in the fashion space, and is a mentor to the CFDA incubator program. She loves championing the underdog, and living an aesthetic life.
Director of Brand Partnerships
Before joining the team at Spring, Johanna spent almost five years at the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), where she helped develop and manage the Fashion Incubator program from its inception. Johanna has worked with emerging and mid-sized American fashion brands as well as top industry executives on all aspects of business development. While at CFDA, Johanna played a key role in the creation of CFDA's Professional Development division where she developed and oversaw MBA programs with top business schools such as Harvard Business School, Stern School of Business, Columbia Business School and the Wharton School. Prior to CFDA Johanna worked at Krupp Group, a boutique PR agency, and also spent time at Harper's Bazaar, Calvin Klein and Badgley Mischka while she attended Parsons The New School for Design. Born in New Mexico, Johanna now lives in Williamsburg. She loves chocolate chip cookies, 70s rock n roll and her two pups Willoughby and Cash.
Senior Brand Curator
Kate Ciepluch's background includes a 10 year stint at Shopbop.com, beginning as a merchant, launching footwear, handbags, and jewelry categories while growing the RTW business exponentially.
During her final years at Shopbop she was the face of the brand, occupying the Fashion Director position where she was the glue between buying, creative and marketing driving homepage editorial content, identifying new brands, and reporting on trends. Upon her departure in Dec 2011, Kate launched a jacket collection, LAVEER, which has been featured on Vogue.com and in the NY Times and is currently sold at Barneys NY, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, specialty stores, and of course her Alma Mater.
Scott has worked at a variety of NY based technology startups including LocalResponse, Foursquare, TechStars, and most recently ChatID. During his time at ChatID, Scott was responsible for operations, business development, and client success for some of the largest consumer electronic brands and retailers in the world. In his free time, Scott can be found riding his fixie around the streets of NY.
Dianna has worked at a variety of NY based fashion and beauty startups, including digital publications Into The Gloss and Beyond The Row. Before that she spent time in house at Thakoon, Philip Crangi's Giles & Brother and Valentino. Dianna loves all things design, beauty, tech and art. She also has a pretty serious leather pants and pizza addiction.
Email & Customer Relationship Manager
Mindy has worked for over 4 years developing and growing the email marketing strategies at multiple retailers including From You Flowers, Penguin Random House Publishing and Dylan's Candy Bar. Focusing on consumer behavior analysis, she applied customer retention strategies while understanding the varying target audiences associated with each company's product to increase YOY growth. A born and raised Michigander, Mindy loves reading overly dramatic Spanish novels, keeps kosher, and enjoys bacon.
Vice President Platform Integrations
Adam enjoys innovating in the ecommerce space, and most recently held a number of roles at Borderfree, where he helped online retailers go global. Adam holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Marketing from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park. He's often seen chasing his wife, two kids, and family dog around New Jersey with one of his 3D cameras.
Dan was an early employee at Birchbox, where he led the development of systems and processes for the subscription-based sampling program during growth from 45K to 600K+ boxes shipped per month. Before that, he worked as a strategy consultant at Booz & Company. He's an airplane geek and a private pilot, and makes expert use of frequent flyer miles to travel the world for free.

Katherine joins JelloLabs from Quidsi, Inc., an Amazon subsidiary, where she launched and ran the home goods and decor site, casa.com. Prior to Quidsi, Katherine was the GM of Superchannels, ad.com's vertical ad network business, and of Style and Home at AOL, where she launched the StyleList blog network and oversaw StyleList, HuffingtonPost Style, and StyleList Home. Katherine has consulted with large retailers on growth, post-merger integrations, and profitability strategy, and launched new digital businesses for NBC Universal. Katherine has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Yale University. She is a born-and-raised New Yorker whose first word was “bagel”, but harbors a not-so-secret love of Garth Brooks and cowboy boots.
Arielle WeltArielle Welt

Arielle's experience in the fashion industry spans the luxury and contemporary markets, first in PR and then brand-side in Wholesale. She helped launch the Rachel Zoe Ready to Wear Collection and most recently spent time at CÉLINE focusing on Shoes & Accessories. Arielle thoroughly enjoys bad television, good sushi, and fabulous shoes (as well as any combination of the three).
Anis previously worked in tech banking at Goldman Sachs, where he was involved in Disney's acquisition of LucasFilm, zulily's IPO and DirecTV's sale to AT&T. Prior to banking, Anis made an attempt to build a social blogging platform, which he called Opin. He spends his free time buying Twitter followers and living a gluten-free life (between meals).
Tessa comes from a social media background at Marc Jacobs where she built the brand's digital presence from the ground up, ultimately reaching over 6.2 million followers cross-channel and landing accolades such as Best Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram by a Fashion Brand along the way. She is an advocate of all things fashion & tech, and spends her weekends watching Netflix with her two children (dogs), Hammy and Hippo.
Sam's career started early when she began working with celebrity stylists during her time spent at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. Upon graduating, Sam spent three years as Associate Producer at BeachMint where she produced projects for six ecommerce brands ranging from photo shoots, look books, video content, live streamed events, and broadcast commercials.
In 2014, Sam left behind the sunny beaches for the New York startup culture. She enjoys being the connector of all dots and loves being surrounded by creativity. When she's not working she's probably scouting the overcrowded streets of NYC for an outdoor live concert or baking vegan goods.
Sonia TsaoSonia Tsao
Sonia comes from a background in real estate development and lifestyle partnerships. She spent 4 years with IMC Group in Asia, and has also worked with Chanel and Conde Naste Traveler. Sonia has a BA in Anthropology & International Relations from Tufts and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where she was a president of the Retail & Luxury Goods Club. A Singapore transplant, Sonia loves spicy food, costume jewelry, and chasing after her pup, Rex.
Leslie FishLeslie Fish
Leslie joins us from the finance industry where she worked for a leading hedge fund managing all of the firm's strategic relationships and conducting research projects on global retail and fashion companies. In her down time, Leslie patronizes Shake Shack and takes long walks with her Boston Terrier, Tuxedo.

Viviana comes from the finance industry, working at an international investment bank for the past six years. Most recently, Viviana was responsible for successfully expanding the bank's commodities business into Latin America, focusing on client acquisition, marketing, and relationship management. After spending most of her days developing customer relationships and making clients happy, Viviana now aims to bring Jello Lab customers the best possible experience. Having left the sunny beaches of Puerto Rico to attend Yale and work in New York City, Viviana is in constant pursuit of sun and warm weather to keep her sanity, although she admits that food and wine usually do the trick.

David has worked with over 100 startups including Vine, Fab.com, GroupMe, Behance, BlueApron, IFTTT, Harry's and DataMinr. He was named to NYC Mayor Bloomberg's Advisory Council on Technology and serves on the Investor Board of Venture for America.
